Every design process embraces the concept of process itself, broadening its meaning well beyond the planning stage alone. The creative moment and the implementation stage then follow on dynamically and seamlessly, one flowing into the other. In carrying out this kind of process, Bussetti & Mazza acts as a "go-between": on one hand taking into account the customer's needs, and on the other those of the mould maker.
In designing the part, Bussetti & Mazza puts its own experience to work in order to bring together a range of factors: from the essential cost-effectiveness of the project, while preserving the non-negotiable aesthetic and functional requirements explicitly requested by the customer, through to the need to produce the moulds and to account for the specific characteristics of the materials used. This connecting role can sometimes cover the entire project, including the transition from the creative act to the production of the part - encompassing at that stage the finishing and adjustments needed for industrialisation, or the matching of the component with other parts.
